For the petrolheads

There was a story where they interviewed May and he was saying he especially but even the other two guys were reaching the finish line of what they could keep doing
That that’s the reason they went to specials in part and that he health wise was starting to feel more worn out by the antics
Can’t remember how long he said he thought he’d keep it up but call it like 2 years or so

Yeah, it was feeling like that in the later seasons of TG as well, it sort of started to lose its charm. I never really fully ‘bonded’ with TGT, I haven’t gone back to rewatch any of the episodes, whereas I could binge TG all day every day.

Aye
I’m still on s7 from when I went back to watch everything

What was it? The Colombia special was the one I enjoyed most out of the new stuff

This last one was…still fun per se but pretty bland by their standards
Maybe not bland just nothing legit special

My fav are between 8 and 14, though 4-7 were pretty good. The French road trip to the bridge was a really good one.

Aye
I left before saying but damn it was fairly brutal to watch the first 2 seasons :joy:
Bringing may in was a big boost but as you say it was like mid 3rd to 4th when they start doing the races etc that picks up the whole show to another level of enjoyability

The central seasons are the best as they struck the balance between funding and ability to cock about. Later on they had to get a bit more ‘serious’.

Not sure if y’all heard but California governor has signed a law to ban the sale of new gas/petrol powered cars or trucks beyond 2035

Any thoughts?

15 years is a while, who knows what might happen. Though the second hand market will get competitive.

Aye…I’m glad he did it though…
it’ll force the big companies to go all electric even if the federal govt doesn’t want to

They won’t miss out on the ca market with it being so huge so they’ll go all in on developing by 2035, the 49 other states will have no choice

Granted, I’m worried that the infrastructure won’t be there to support it

Range is a problem when it comes to work and stuff
Repairs get so damn expensive even in them little Prius when it comes to their batteries

Well see as you said

Dafuq did I just watch? :joy:
