FB Style LPU Site

What are your thoughts if LPU will be similar to a social media platform like FaceBook?
Of course excluding the games?

But a platform by which we could upload more photos to our profile, create an album, events, etc.

A more interactive site.

My opinion: I would say no, FB too mainstream. Better as it is now, even if it seems boring ooh well…hope more feature will be update for LPU13 :slight_smile:

Definitely no! FB is entirely different than the LPU. No need to make this site plain and usual like all the other social media sites.

More functionality would be nice, but not Facebook looking. I kinda want a darker looking LP Underground again, 11 and 12 were mainly white-ish, but most years before they were darker. It fits the “Underground” name

I would like a new format too. But I don’t know about Facebook style . LPU needs to be unique.

Anyway I should have specified that I want the profile page to be changed to something like FB. Like we could add more photos/albums/videos to our profile. Specify more information. Etc.As of now, we only have one DP and can’t be zoomed in.

Also, the improvement on the “Notifications”. Like when they tag your name, etc. Note the notification is through email and not built-in here.

But Forums, Blogs, and of course the CHAT!!! should stay with some improvements.

Well. that’s for me.

maybe they can make the site more simpler and hav a mobile version sana, so that tablet users or mobile phone users can access the site easily. syempre kelangan hndi natatapos yung contest kahit paisa isang tshirt lang ang ipamimigay wag nman sna yung mga tira tirang flyers s nakaraang tour hahahahaha

Yup! No LPU App for Android! I don’t know why. But anyway the LPU App sucks! I mean, it has no push notification or whatsoever. And you can’t write a blog through the app. The Forums are not updated. Etc.

So even if you have LPU App on your Apple device/s, you’ll choose to use an internet browser. Ie safari or Chrome

Yes, LPU could take some cues from FB. The profile page needs work, needs notifications, etc.
