^ THIS. I joined this very same year and enjoyed it alot :D. Renewed from then on til LPUX which of course I must say wasn’t the best.
I dont know… all lpu years are awesome… just to be in this fanclub is awesome. but either this year or last year is great (mainly because of the cd’s i guess)
LPU 4.0! I met some of my closest friends in the LPU chat. It felt a lot like a family when you went into the chat room. You knew almost everyone and got along well with the Mods. Everything was pretty organised too!
Around LPU 8.0 to LPUX is when things wern’t go great. Felt like less of a family. The chat changed around this time I think? Possibly earlier? E-mail accounts were withdrawn. It all kinda changed. I felt like less of a member of the family and more of ‘just another person who paid for the package’.
I feel LPU11 is on the right track at the moment though. Frequent band member chats. More interaction on and off the site - I have a lot of LPU’ers on facebook. The forums are a great way to discuss & debate. The guarenteed Meet and Greet is a great idea! So is the early LPU entry into concerts. The pack’s are getting there. The LPU CD’s are getting better - unreleased demo’s - just like some of the older LPU cd’s. Am quite happy with it so far!
9 is what i remember the most. 6 not really, i was just happy to be there. i dont remember that much. lpu7 was cool. and 8 :3
