Can a LPU member attend Europe Tour Meet&Greet without buying this new package?
You can sign up for a M&G without the package but then it’s not guaranteed. You will need luck. (;
It’s unlikely, I suppose it depends how many people buy their places into the M&G and if they allocate slots for non buying members.
It’s a new thing, buying your way into the M&G, used to just be part of the fanclub (and that’s why is used to be the best fanclub).

Yeah, I LOVE LP, but it’s an issue I’ve had with them for a while now
It seems to be all about making money.
Diehard fans shouldn’t need to be rich to keep up - financial independence/ stability or wealthiness is no measurement of or match to loving a band

The M&G sign up / lottery will come up in October, so very close to the show dates. Lorenzo wrote that.
You don’t need some extra package, you just need to be an lpu member (the online member for 20$ works fine)

I used to love boasting to my friends about all the benefits of the LPU for the price when they shell out loads for their respective fanclubs, now LPU is just the same as everywhere else.
I wonder how many places they allocate to the ‘lottery M&G’ and how pi**ed you’d be to be in a queue having paid $500 to meet LP stood next to someone who got in for free(as an LPUer).
I believe/hope that LP are very much in control of what happened in the LPU!!

i have alos a question to the europeen tour.
they advertise, that you have early entry to concert if you are in lpu and you are in a special place.
so now my question, is this only with this special tickets or automaticly because i am a lpu member?

Actually I kinda like this new option. After ten years of being here, entering this “contest” six times and always walking away empty handed, I’m glad I can finally guarantee my spot.

This. Been a member for years now and I hated seeing the LPU change from the awesome community it used to be to this dead site that people come online to just to check for the m&g. I hate to admit it but that’s why I am a member now. It’s just the m&g, the rest of the “perks” we used to have as members have vanished. And honestly, I didn’t even win the m&g I attended. I used a guaranteed one I had from LPU11. I still doubt I would have won with all those “buy your m&g” special ticket packages. I get it that they need money to keep the fansite going hence why they raised the memberships’ costs as well but this? Buy your way in to the m&g? Meeehhh… they just became one of those lame bands who charge you TONS of money in order to meet them.

I totally agree with EvoOba.
All the LPU “perks” are vanishing.
People just join it when a M&G is announced to get a chance to win it, and most of them also do.
As EvoOba, I had the opportunity to meet the band thanks to a guaranteed M&G from LPU11 and I’m thankful to it (I’m not sure I could have win something even if I’ve been a member for 3 years).
And now, those “premium packages” with ridiculous prices. what’s the point in LPU now? We pay for a membership, maybe renewing it year after year… But in the end it doesn’t even matter. It only matters how rich you are, because you can’t normally spend half a salary for a ticket! It’s insane.
It’s not envy, even if I was rich I’d have the same thoughts: it’s unfair and it’s too much.
But there’s still some people who buy them and so they keep go on with this (they even go sold out, I’m shocked!).
LPU is going even more in the direction “you have to be rich if you want the cool stuff” and I don’t like it.
Yes! I also agree with you EvaOba and Ema. Even if Lorenzo stated, that the premium tickets won’t steal LPU spots at the m&g.
I mean: What is the special feeling to be in the “inner circle” if rich people from the outside just can pay 500€ and become a guaranteed meeting?
We are talking about a lot of money and I really would like to know, where that money goes to. I can’t imagine that LP grab it. My opinion about the band is too positive as I could think so. But who arrange that shit and who earns that money!? If it goes to MFR I’m fine with it. But I didn’t read about it.

I agree that it’s way too expensive but I guess that it’s nice to have a guaranteed meet and greet. I do feel sorry for people that really can’t afford it and tbh I’m working 12 hour shifts to pay for mine XoXoX

Managed to get Manchester tickets in the pre-sale. Just hoping I can get onto the M&G too. I’ve been a member of LPU in the past and never managed to meet them so just holding out onto a little hope. You wouldn’t believe I work/worked in music, would you? I’m a right fan boy sometimes haha
