CONGRATS to the lucky LPU members who received FREE tickets to Club Nokia show. Remember, there are not many things that are FREE in life and you should feel privileged to have the 0.714% chance of obtaining 1 ticket in which LP, Adam & the crew set aside for us.
On a side note, I can’t wait to attend the International Summit in Camden, NJ with several other LPU members [biggrin]

I was on time to buy my lotto ticket for $560M last month and I didn’t win it…This was about as far away from a fan club fail as I can think of. Not sure you quite understand the dynamic of this relationship.
XGames- “Hey LP, can we pay you to play this private show for us?” LP- “Sure, we’ll take your money to play. Any chance we can get some free tickets too so our fans can go to this PRIVATE SHOW that you guys planned for your own promotion?”

Bonnie, you need to check yourself.
Not everyone can shell out $250 or however much you’re suggesting for concert tickets, no matter how much they love the band. Saying that the Japan show was “handled perfectly” because you just paid $500 for a ticket means you completely missed the point. The point was to raise money for charity, not sell insanely-priced tickets so the people who had the means could buy their way in. I’m sorry you didn’t get tickets, but guess what? That’s life. Life isn’t fair. You can’t buy your way into everything.
If I remember correctly, you got to go to the House of Blues show. Was that not enough? Can you not accept that there are other fans who deserve to go to a special event too? Not everything’s about you. If the same people got to go to every show, they’d being shutting out so many fans. It’s only fair that everyone’s given as equal an opportunity as possible.
All I’ve ever seen you do on here is complain. Adam works incredibly hard to make LPU happen and give us these cool opportunities. He could be making a lot more money elsewhere, but he does this because he cares about LP and their fans. If you can’t appreciate how much this band and crew does for the fans, then you’re selfish and don’t deserve to even be given these opportunities.
So stop complaining and harassing Adam, and be grateful for what you’ve gotten.

Private HOB show ($100), two listening parties (FREE), XGames (FREE), Jimmy Kimmel (FREE) in the past month. If you think you were scammed and LPU is doing this maliciously just for their personal enjoyment, you do not speak for LPU/ fanbase as a whole. I enjoy the fact that I get a shit ton of opportunities to meet the guys in a structured environment, whereas a band like Muse, you have to catch in the wild for any interaction since they have no fan club. LP didn’t have to set up any of this shit for us. They could have just given us a damn t-shirt and took our money.

Not to mention it goes back to US and to their charities! My summer would not be what it has and will be without the LPU and Linkin’s generosity. So grateful, it hurts.
