No. That’s my dual ended USB. One end goes into a PC the other goes into a phone with a small USB like the Samsung. It works well if you can get the crappy app to work on your phone.

You’re right about the remote not being from the car. That’s a Scalextric slot car (those really fast ones that go around those mini tracks you can put in your living room). I was thinking of making it odd because it was missing it’s wing (my sister crashed it time ago and broke it off…twice!).
