No. there is a mode in you phone called aeroplane mode. You can find it easily in you settings.
All you have to do is just plug in your earphones, open radio app and the radio will get its signal automatically. My mom was listening to old songs today…on radio
I tried it on my phone, I switched off wi-fi and data and it was playin’. It doesn’t work in the airplane mode…
