Can you touch your shoulders?

I understand, I do really! Mine argue with me over stuff they think they know better as well. For example, these last few days we’ve been having some heated up conversations about my internship (I start in October) and how I should do this and that and apply at X company and not Y. Honestly, I’m so tired and they make me so much more nervous than I already am about it, I just want them to stop and let me do the stuff that I need to do the way I’m supposed to.

I’m closer to my dad too. He gets me, he understands stuff my mum never will (i.e my love for music, which is like a huge deal to me, I live for it at this point) and he has my back when mum decides to be a bitch to me (cause she unfortunately has a few times). But yeah… parents!

A: Fancy jewellery, not my thing at all. People assume that because I’m a girl I like wearing them (and make-up) so they tend to gift me stuff like that. I’m always like “eehh, thanks?” and give them away or save them as gifts for my friends.
Q: A thing you have in your room/house in general that seems to not fit in with everything else?

My mum doesn’t seem to like music. I never see her going out of her way to listen to music, she listens to the radio in the car but that’s about it. When I ask her about what music she likes she either says “Whatever is on the radio” or she gets rather defensive for some reason which is strange.

My grandma always brings me new t-shirts from Australia, sometimes I love them but some times they’re best forgotten about.

A: I can’t think of anything now, but my Fort Minor CD case in my CD rack, because it’s the only paper/card case that I have, the rest are plastic jewel cases.

Q: Fav aeroplane? For me it’s either the SR71 Blackbird or the Concorde, two spectacular pieces of engineering.

@the_termin8r1 My mum thinks music is a waste of time and money. My dad and her had a huge argument before my 1st LP show actually. She was saying I was too young, dad was trying to convince her that I HAD to go no matter what. Second time around, she forbid me from going cause my grades “weren’t good enough” (they loved blackmailing me with my grades) so dad drove me to the venue without her knowledge and told her I was spending the night at my cousin’s. It’s been a struggle since forever really… Thankfully she doesn’t care anymore and lets me do what I want wheb it comes to concerts and stuff.

Not good with airplanes so I’m gonna leave that one for someone else.

Ouch :grimacing:

My parents usually blame bad grades on gaming lol, because I was quite addicted not too long ago. But at the moment I’m doing well

A: I know absolutely nothing about airplanes, I’m afraid. So unable to answer that question.)

Q: If you had to listen to just one song for the rest of your life what song it would be?

A: Welcome by FM (This is a very unfair question, how can I possibly choose just one single song for the rest of my life? :stuck_out_tongue: )

Q: Are you a morning bird or a night owl? Are you more productive in the morning at night?

A: Tricky. I love having time in the morning to do stuff but then again, I can’t fully function. For example, I can’t study during the day, I have other things in my mind while at night, so so much better. Yay for all-nighters!!

Q: Assume you’re going on a long trip. Do you prefer going by plane, so that you can be there as soon as possible, or train/car/ship in order to “see” more?

A: It depends where I’m going. If I’m travelling through Europe or America, then I would prefer to go in a car to see the other countries that we are driving through. But if it would be Russia, for example then I would fly. I’ve been there before (16 times if I’m not mistaken) and there is not much to see for me now.)

Q: What would you choose - love that lasts forever or unlimited amount of money?

A: I would prefer unlimited amount of money. I can’t love forever. It’s not possible for me and i don’t want it.

Q: What do you prefer to study?
My psychology studies were that i prefered.

I’d only go in a plane if it were a Blackbird, Concorde or some other supersonic leviathan jet fighter, or a spitfire. Otherwise a car. Unless it was a crap car. If you presented me with a blackbird and a Mclaren F1 to choose between I would go as far as taking the plane to wherever I’m going, then immediately taking it back so that I can do the journey in the car.

Money is more useful, I’m not to bothered about love.

Engineering (currently studying electrical engineering in college, I’m starting my final year tomorrow). Otherwise automotive engineering is my fav. Most people really can’t appreciate the beautiful intricacy and complexity of a car or plane or electronic device.

Q: Schemer of imporviser? I find planning VERY boring. I’m also the sort of person who would “kick the hornets’ nest” just for the fun of it.

Wow, am I the only one who would have said love to @KristinaUK’s question?

A: Improviser most of the time, I go with the flow. But I do plan if I have to, sometimes it makes things easier.

Q: A steady boring job with an average salary or your dream job with unknown future potentials and minimum wage?

Oh and, good luck tomorrow for your first day back @the_termin8r1!

My answer and question are the same thing: What if your dream job was high paid and interesting (engineer in my case)?

Thanks  As far as I know it’s only an induction day so not much would be happening.

@EvoOba. When i was younger, i tought love was the most important thing in life. But now i’m 35 and i’m with my son’s father for 10 years and i know that we will not finish life together and with nobody else either. I feel so good alone and my son’s love is the most beautiful thing in my life

A: Dream job, without a doubt!

Q: Would you rather have your thoughts broadcasted so that everyone will always know what you are thinking (at any time) or never be allowed to wear clothes but keep your thoughts to yourself?

A: Keep my thoughts to myself then hire a servant to do everything for me lol

Q: Least fav subject in school?

Biology for me, my high school teacher was that one teacher that every student wanted dead. My DT teacher comes close, all the time she was in my high school she made students cry, 2 months with my class (I was in a class full of all the misbehaving idiots who know nothing [not like the ones who misbehave but actually get good grades when it comes to it]) and we brought her to tears, the year after she left and we finally got a proper teacher.

@Magalie Love isn’t necessary towards another person though. Money doesn’t buy you happiness though.

A: PE simply because my school was so stupid when it came to it, cause a) boys and girls had different PE teachers, b) because of the different PE teachers we couldn’t do what we wanted, c) couldn’t play regular sports like the boys cause “girls are supposed to do aerobic and yoga” and all that crap. Ugh, hated it so freaking much. I wanted to be outside and play basketball with the boys.

Q: Have your parents ever embarrassed you in front of your friends or family?

PE was pretty crap in al of my schools. The only time it was good was in high school when we played badminton, did trampolining or the final 2 lessons in high school which were dodge ball and some pretty mad and hilarious crap went down.

A: A couple of times. but I can’t remember anything ATM.

Q: Which sport do you hate most? Football for me, I don’t see the hype behind it. I’m terrible at it but even watching it is mind numbingly boring. Not to mention that all of the players are a bunch of idiotically overpaid apes.

A: Golf. Simply because I don’t understand the concept of the game, nor did I ever put any effort to learn them.

Q: Would you start a physical fight with a stranger? How difficult do you think it is?

OT: @the_termin8r1 with reference to the planning stuff & the pic used, I would like to add that Joker had planned the situation well. There is a continuity issue in the movie, but it is visible. So, while being spontaneous is cool, planning keeps you safe.

I’ve got a bad memory of golf, one that some think I’m lying about.

I know. It’s thanks to youtube channels like cinemasins and Screen Junkies that I can’t watch a single film anymore without nitpicking or not shutting up every time I find a mistake.

OT: it doesn’t require external help if you are paying attention. Honestly, I have never seen those 2 channels you have mentioned, but yes, instead of just being swept off the feet by any character, you will have to understand the character as well to enjoy the movie.
This is just in the lines of “Reading without reflecting is like eating without digesting”.
