Avenged Sevenfold

Hey,

is any other Avenged Sevenfold (or A7X) fan in here ?
I started listening to A7X somewhen in last year’s fall … I got their live DVD and it was so fucking amazing that I immediately got all of their albums. I freaking like the old ones like Radiant Eclipse, Second Heartbeat, Critical Acclaim, I Won’t See You Tonight, Almost Easy and so on … Nightmare is also good but not their best.
Of course I afterwords heard about Jimmy’s death and I coulnd’t really believe that this amazing and so fucking talented man has already left us. I liked him more than any other drummer A7X ever had.

So … let’s talk a little bit about them [smile]

i´m since 2005. My favourite song is Unholy confessions, is awesome.

Love them too! One of my fave bands

Did you watch their live performance at RaR 2011 ? Even though the sound is crappy, it was a very good concert and a very strong performance. So what’s your favourite album or favourite song ?

@Sergio: I like Unholy Confession too, but somehow I like Second Heartbeat more. And I like Almost Easy the most, I think. Seize The Day is also great and I like it live more than the studio version.

Yeah I checked some videos out. Was good.
Hm…Dear God, Afterlife and So Far Away are a few of my favorites

Oh yeah … have you been to a concert yet ?
I wish, they’d come to Germany next year.

Nope, they’ve never been here in Greece. And I don’t think they will

Greece ? Wow … damn, I think you’re right.
They have been to Germany for a couple of times, but I couldn’t go, because my mum wouldn’t let me -.-

So … how do you feel about The Rev and this whole drummer problem ?

Ι certainly do feel bad about the Rev. He was great…drummer prob? Haven’t heard anything

That’s my view too, I mean he was great and so talented … very sad that he left us so young.
The problem I was talking about was, that so much fans aren’t happy with every other drummer they had aber The Rev. Most of them tought Portney didn’t fit into A7X and also Arin kinda get’s hated for not fitting and being something like a mummy’s boy. Many fans also got very mad at A7X after they ‘dropped’ Portney.
I hate this whole thing … of course it’s really hard to find someone else after Rev, but the fans have to accept their choice. Nightmare was completely recorded without The Rev and most of them did like it. I prefer the older albums, but it’s still good.

I sometimes listen to A7X, and I have most of their albums. I saw them live at last summer in here Finland. The concert was awesome

They played in Finland ? Very cool … so they already played some new stuff, uh ?
Do you like them love more or do you prefer studio version of their songs ?

Oh about that…yes. It’s sad. I mean, The Rev would have wanted them to continue and replace him for the band’s sake. Fans just need to accept it and let The Rev RIP

Yep  They played in Provinssirock Festival June 17th. They played songs from Nightmare. People were crazy, and I almost died there lol  I think that A7X is good live band  I can’t say do I like more live or studio versions.

Agreed! I love Unholy Confessions!

A7X is one of my fav bands, can’t quite remember when I started listening to them I think in 2005-2006…maybe a little bit later. Synyster Gates is an AMAZING guitarist! one of the best I think. I have not seen them live though, I had a chance but my friends weren’t really into a7x, so I didn’t end up going -.-

About their live shows … I like how everyone get’s crazy on their songs
LP crowds went kind of boring and A7X still rocks the crowd. Of course it depends on what kind of people are in there, but they stimulate the crowd more.

me too, A7X is one of my favorite bands!
I´m A7x fan since 2009, and my favorite song’s is Seize The Day, Beast and the harlot, I won’t see you tonight pt1.
