AMA Preformance

OK, Chester’s voice was a little strained at times but it just proves that Linkin Park’s performance was genuine and didn’t rely on backing vocal tracks (like some of the other performances of the night). The sound of Brad’s guitar is how it is when Burn It Down is performed live. It’s like they turn it up to 11 or something in the mix. I don’t mind, though, I think it rocks. The performance was great, I loved it. It’s awesome to see Linkin Park representing rock music and burning it up on the AMA’s among all these other not-so-cool pop acts.

I missed that performance :frowning:
Anyone has a video or a link of it ?

Have fun

Didn’t think it went well, oh well still won!

I heard the crack in the voice too, but the rest was o.k., never get tired of watching LP. It also prooves that they did’nt playback, but where real, as every artist should be. If they have true fans, they will forgive their idol a little mistake. If you can never sing live on stage, what are you doing up there?

So who really cares if they weren’t really perfect. They’re not in a singing competition show. LP rocks always!!!

That’s just exactly my opinion. We are so spoiled by the awesome LP performances, that we immediately notice small errors. But honestly, those shades just raise the live experience. I personally find it quite interesting, if not everything goes as smoothly. That is also the reason why I watched my “Live In Texas DVD” only once. It sounds to clean for a live concert to me. (Thankfully we have Pooch now). I would prefer to watch a wobbly, but although authentic youtube video, than such sterile DVD.

HUH… I thought that I was imagining things when I thought that Chester was off in the begining and that Joe kinda messed up at the end (I don’t particularly remember what Brad did that a lot of people were mentioning). Oh, well… at least they won! I was really happy!!
