These are my best albums of 2019 in no particular order:
I also listened to lots of older stuff as usual, so I count them as 2019 albums in the sense that I’ve only listened to them for the first time this year:
If I made a list like that, it would be at least 60 albums long, legit.
Well these are only my favorites. Mine would be much longer if I had included everything as well
Love this thread, as always @the_termin8r!
I should mention that even though the following are some of my favourites, I generally don’t like all the songs from most albums. So I probably have a couple of songs that I didn’t like from the albums mentioned
Albums/EPs:
Bring Me The Horizon - Amo
grandson - a modern tragedy vol.2, 3
I Prevail - Trauma
Papa Roach - Who Do You Trust?
Sum 41- Order in Decline
Singles:
Bring Me The Horizon - Ludens
grandson - Oh No!!!
Hollywood Undead - Already Dead
Hollywood Undead - Time Bomb
Mark Morton ft. Chester Bennington - Cross Off
Mike Shinoda - Fine
Yungblud - Hope For The Underrated Youth
Yungblud - Die A Little
This is my top albums and EPs list of 2019:
Best album goes to Black Midi - Schlagenheim
The rest in no particular order:
Best albums of the decade list to follow, it’s just a bit tough narrowing it down
Favourite music of 2019:
Rammstein - Self Titled,
Lindemann - F & M
Skillet - Victorius
Starset - Divisions
Mike Shinoda - Fine
Lock The Basement - Die While You Stand In Line
All of these in no particular order and have been on repeat.
Thread bump. Are there any anticipated releases for 2020?
Red should be releasing something this year.
New Kaleo music! Other than that, not that I know of
Evanescence and MCR?
As far as the bands I listen to, Breaking Benjamin’s acoustic album is coming out this month. Also Red, Icon For Hire, Evanescene, and Stitched Up Heart, that’s all I’m aware of atm. Possibly new music by Jen Ledger as well.
Has anyone heard of Rise Against making any new music? It has been since 2017 since Wolves came out.
Nope
Saw an interview of him saying that he was content with the hiatus enjoying family life
That they had stuff in early stages only
They released The Ghost Note Symphonies in 2017, too. Lately, there have been three-year gaps between their albums anyway.
I’ve pre-ordered Antiflag’s 20/20 for now, comes out end of January. Other than that haven’t had the time to actually sit down and look through this year’s releases yet.
I’d love something from Rise Against though. There’s talk going on about Deftones possibly releasing something too.
I also almost forgot that Green Day’s releasing a new album next month.
I’m looking forward for the new albums from Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch and Green Day and hopefully Limp Bizkit
I’d love another Ghost note symphony, it wasn’t called vol. 1 for nothing I presume?
Weren’t they supposed to release something 5 years ago? I didn’t even know they were still around.
