Acoustic Final Masquerade

Hiya everyone!

I’m here to ask for a really random favour, I was on a YouTube loop listening to random LP songs when an acoustic version of Final Masquerade began to play and it just took me breath away.

I’m, hopefully, getting married on October 17th (fingers crossed) and I would love to walk down the aisle to this song but I can’t find it anywhere on the interwebs. Argh!

Can anyone tell me where I could find it or possibly email it to me, please?

My dad got my Hybrid Theory in 2001, I was 13 years old, I followed the band ever since, I even saw them several times, once even on my birthday, I call that winning at life. I want to make LP a small, yet important part of my wedding.

Checking online, it looks like the studio recorded acoustic version of Final Masquerade was released for free on February 18, 2015. It was also included on a promo cd back in January of the same year. I honestly can’t remember if I got an email with a download link or luckily came across the download link through their Facebook page. The song is very beautiful but if you listen to the lyrics closely, they’re very sad and almost heartbreaking… Maybe if you find someone to perform an acoustic instrumental version, you’ll be good to go OR if lyrics aren’t an issue, it’ll definitely be a beautiful song to hear on your special day. :slight_smile:

That’s the version I’m talking about. It’s a studio recorded acoustic rendition of the original song. It features an acoustic guitar(s), a piano, Mike and Chester’s vocals and a slowed-down tempo. That’s pretty much it. They also performed a different acoustic version at a couple LP Underground summits over the years. :slight_smile:

Did a little more research. Looks like the song was posted on MikeShinoda dot com and LinkinPark dot com. The link for the track was http://linkinpark.com/thankyou which is no longer valid but just wanted to list it.

For anybody that needs a refresher, in 2015, when Chester broke his ankle and the band had to cancel the rest of the tour, they offered a free download of Final Masquerade (Acoustic) at linkinpark.com/thankyou (obviously, it’s a broken link now).

And no, @Audrina87, at one time, years ago, we had the ability to send private messages. Unfortunately, that is no longer an option.
