A personal LP Project

So for a while I’ve been planning to do a little LP project, and this week I set out to finish it. It’s nothing major but I’m really proud of how it looks so let me know what you all think :slight_smile:

(sorry if you think it’s lame.)





Everything on this shirt is either spray paint or permanent marker. It’s a homage to the original style of Linkin Park Art work. A lot of what is on this is inspired by the graffiti work they did for the Meteora album cover. I am really proud of this, I just hope it goes through the wash ok :S

OMG this is sooo not lame
its the opposite of lame
its freaking awesome

you did a great job
you could ask the bosses of LPU to put it on the auction section and then let the money go to a charity or so xD

dude thats amazing! you should look into the fabric markers (think permanent markers for clothes!) i thought about doing something like this on a hoodie. i did one with tattoo stuff but with the puffy fabric paint so after time parts are peeling off :confused:

How long did it takes you to make?

I made a cloth pouch, shoes and shirts…but I used fabric markers so it won’t wash out =)

I think my brain just died at HOW FREAKING AWESOME THAT IDEA IS!!! I wouldn’t give this one, I’d make another, but I just wish that I could get the guys to sign the shirt before it gets autioned, cause then it would really bring in good money. A one of a kind shirt with signatures, can you imagin??

A lot of what’s one there is marker, like the wings and the song titles and parts of the names, oh and Boris. Simply because I’m nervous of what the spray paint will do once I wash it. A friend suggested I iron it first to try seal the paint.
It took me a week from the time I printed out the images for the stencil to the time I completed the shirt. You have no idea how hard it is to cut out the really fine detail like the letters and Boris. And believe me this shirt will definitely be worn to a concert or M&G, but it will be years before that happens, cause I’m in South Africa, it generally takes at least 4 years for bands to come back here. But I’m hopeful, it’s part of the reason I have “'Work in Progress”’ written on the sleeve, is cause it won’t be finished until it has their signatures on it :slight_smile:

Hey guys, I created another shirt for myself, this one is a little different though, I wanted to put more of my own, I donno, artistic flare into it. The music notes are the panio of Roads Untraveled. And PHE, on the shoulder is my tag name :slight_smile: short for phoenix. I have a phoenix tattooed on my ankle (was my first tat) so it seems like the right fit.
