I still don’t get the hype behind anything Nintendo, I feel like at this point their main clientele is just a bunch of nostalgic people who grew up with it. As someone who didn’t grow up with Nintendo, I just don’t get it. I’ve played multiple Nintendo games on a few different consoles and just don’t get it.

I’ll be a Nintendo fan boy til the day I die. I love them because they mostly focus around family friendly games anyone can enjoy (such as Pokémon, Mario, and the Wii sports games). This is why the Wii was so successful, it appealed to non-gamers as much as casual gamers. PlayStation, PC, and XBox also have these types of games but their target audience centers more around intense gamers and first person shooter fans. Not to mention nintendo was the only company to successfully have a handheld gaming device. Im not that much of a gamer so the Nintendo consoles definitely appeal more to me than the others. Not to say I don’t like the other systems, I just enjoy Nintendo more.
