I love 30STM, wish I could see them live. My cousin (by marriage) saw them for the record breaking 300th show at Roseland this past December and he’s hooked. He loved the concert and it made him into a hard core fan. When I tried to explain why I loved LP I would tell him go see them live, now he understands what I meant cause he experienced it with 30STM.

This is war was an album that I had listened to for 4 months straight! I couldn’t stop listening to it cause I didn’t tire of it. That has NEVER happened to me before (not even with LP!) I had been following the drama with 30STM and their label Virgin and This Is War was the album that was in limbo. IMO best album that I’ve heard in a very long time

and you are absolutely right about The Echelon! They are committed to 30STM the same way we LPU’ers are committed to LP

I’ve always liked 30STM as well! They come up with some great songs and Jared Leto is a great frontman and singer. I haven’t seen them live in concert yet, but I would love to one day! :slight_smile: And yes, their fan base are very dedicated as well. :slight_smile:

i don’t know that much by 30stm… but i can say i totally dislike them! i don’t like their style or simply their music!

im an echelon!! yes 30stm is a great band. they have strong fanbase. but sometime its hard to see the different between loyal fan and fangirl. fangirl can be really annoying sometimes lol XD . i saw their show last year. it was amazing. jared did talk alot, but i think he just want to interactive with the audiences. jared is not only actor or singer, he’s entertainer.

I like Mars. I really do. I like the epic feeling songs on ‘This is War’. I like it. I have all the albums on my note. But I listen to their songs cuz they sound good and not for the fact that ‘they talk to me’. Like, I can pick ANY Linkin Park song and I’ll love it as a whole. For the melodies, for the lyrics, for the band. Now Mars I just really like cuz their melodies are good, but the lyrics don’t make ‘sense’ to me, you know?

And I wonder all the times how many people listen to them cuz theyr’re good or cuz the singer is Jared Leto. I had my crush on him, he’s funny, he’s criative and he’s good at what he do (music and actiong), but then I started to get sick of his always flitours actions. He’s like that, he play, he flirt, he tease and some people are fan of the band because he’s like. this. I’m not judging, but I got tired of this shit and all.

And I’ve seen a lots of live videos and I reallu don’t think I could take their concert. Jared have an amzing voice, but he always get out of tone, out of breath and the crowd sings more than he does. One of my father’s friend went to the concert and don’t like him since cuz of that.

I’m wating for the next album, to see what them gonna do now.

But I could never call myself an Echelon.

They have this Vyrt thing. You pay, like, $10 so you can se livestreams stuff. Like Jared coockinh vegan pancackes. They on the studio talking about songs and playing some. Random videos of Jared being Jared… they don’t have a ‘LPU’ like us.

I think they’re great. I saw them opening for Linkin Park 2007 in Stockholm. It was amazing!

the background choir in their “This Is War” album are the fans. they did a summit and had recording process. i think for fans worldwide they also did a digital summit where the fans can record their singing and submit.

they involved the fans on two of their music videos, there are fans commentary on their “Closer To The Edge” video and they also insert fans recording in their own language to lyrics of “Escape”/“Night Of The Hunter” on “Hurricane” video.

maybe they don’t have “LPU”, but those ^ sound pretty special to me.

I saw 30 Seconds to Mars twice, in 2010 concert was amazing, beautiful setlist 22 songs, great atmosphere, in 2011 concert was short and to be honest I really regret that I spent money for the ticket.

i saw 30 seconds too mars last year, it was an amazing show that had a blacklight theme. i wore a crazy costume. it was really fun

That’s my favourite band after LP. I love Beautiful Lie, From Yesterday, Closer to the Edge, The Kill, Edge of the Earth etc…

Yeah, I like them too. Their music is really great. I had soo concerns about the crazy fan and now it has been confirmed. I only watched concerts in the internet but seems like their concerts are really “big” indeed. There is a lot of energy though and seems really great.
I wouldn’t miss them if I had the chance to attend a concert.
So, yeah I do like them XD

I like 30STM. I visited their concert in Prague in year 2010. It was amazing, I stood in a first row and when they came, they gave me back all the energy, which I lost during the whole day of waiting. I just wanna say, that their music has incredible power and guys from band have beatiful fan support. They were in Czech Rep. for 3 or 4 times, I guess and I thank them for it. シ
