30stm

i think 30 Seconds to Mars are great. Jared Leto is a pretty good singer.
And what really impresses me is their strong Fan Base.
They call themselves the Echelon and do all this Triad stuff. Its kinda like a sect

i really like 30stm, just saw them on saturday  very cool show, but some fans are really crazy xD

I do agree with you.
I saw Mars on November 11th in Paris, not because I’m a genuine fan, but by sheer curiosity and I must admit that they’ve got a real army ready to go for any action Jared decides. It’s kind of mesmerizing, but scaring in some way. For example, if Jared wants something to trend on Twitter, he just has to call for the Echelon dedication and it f*****g works.
Sometimes I wonder whether we should ask Mike to use the same methods to trend #PowerTheWorld because it would have worked with the 30STM Triad.
It’s definitely a closed inner circle, kind of a sect from a certain point of view.

Saw them in Hamburg 2007 before LP enters the stage! Pure rock!
Jared went into the crowd and shook hands with me and went back up the stage

the new album is awesome! def a good band

LP & 30STM in one night, amazing!

i really like 30STM, got all of their albums. i got a chance to saw them live in July 2011 and it was amazing! Jared Leto can definitely sing.

Echelon is a cult

I like some of their songs but not big fan. Closer to the Edge is awesome!

LP got expensive xD

Great band. I really like them and yes The Echelon is really strong but their live show was very disappointing.

I agree 100%

disappointing like how though?

oh really why that? i just saw some live things on YouTube. And i liked it. i also like that they make shows with motto. Like ā€œWhite Nightā€ or ā€œNeon Nightā€. Thats pretty cool

The show was disappointing to me because they only played 11 songs in like 2,5 hours and that cause of the time Jared kept talking and messing with the crowd, getting people on stage to talk and stuff. Plus like 4-5 of these 11 songs were played exclusively by Jared alone and not in their entire. Just the chorus, acoustically. What else…ehm, Jared was basically messing with the crowd all the time and he even stopped at the middle of a song and asked everyone to scream, get on other people’s shoulders and stuff like that. It wasn’t cool by me. And at the end, during Kings and Queens when he pulls people on stage (I was on of them) it gets so crazy, you can’t really stand on stage cause everyone’s fucking screaming and touching the guys.

Overall it wasn’t a good concert and definitely not worth the money I gave. Arena tickets were 45 euros, Pitch was 80 and VIP was 75.

wow, those are unexpected reasons. tho i get about the last one re Kings and Queens. it was pretty messy too when they did it here. but mostly it was because there were so many people who still came on stage even when Jared said stop. was a bit out of control =/

but for me, the talking and messing around were actually cool. it what makes the difference between watching it live and on DVD/videos. the medley acoustic session was one of the highlights for me.

I like 30STM but I kinda have to agree with the live performance, it was ok but when Jared asked the crowd to move in closer and closer it got really tight, didn’t like that too much.

I saw them live back in 2007 before LP and i had no idea who they were, i was like - omg…is it Jared Leto, the actor!!! Next time i saw them at a rock festival in Poland, where i went just to see them. But on a big fest the atmosphere wasnt intimate. And now im going to my fisrt their big own show 28.11 in Frankfurt. And thats what i am expecting - songs played acousticly, messing/talking with the crowed, just become closer to the band, cause this kind of thing im missing when im watching LP live…i saw them 3 times…and it was just playing, almost not talking to the fans and leaving.

I’m not saying the talking was bad but it was TOO MUCH and it got annoying from a point and after. At least I don’t go to a 2 hour concert to listen to the band talk with fans and play just 11 songs. I go to appreciate the music as much as possible. Tho, LP were very talkative to 2 of the 3 shows I’ve been so I’m not complaining LOL
