I remember when I was in middle school, there was one song I knew I could always come home to and release all the tension I had built up. From The Inside just captures that kind of power and energy that, in my mind, makes it stand out above the rest.
Easier To Run - LP was the only thing that helped me to cope with chronic depression when I was in the early years of Secondary (so 12-15 years old), this was the song I listened to most.
Still, Hybrid Theory was and will always be the only reason I associate to me still being here and not doing something stupid, so ETR doesn’t really deserve the credit.
So many! Probably Faint, Numb, In the end, LOATR, and APFMH have given me the biggest first impression lyrically.
What I’ve done was the first song I really liked, although idk that I really connected with the lyrics as much as just enjoyed them.
Numb… But I fell in love with the band when I saw their MTV of One step closer, year 2000…
Hmm mine changes from time to time, depending on my life. Which is why I love LP so much, there’s always a song that gets me through whatever is going on!
Right now i’ll say In Pieces.
Some always move me and somehow are part of many of my moments: In The End, Numb, What I’ve Done and With You.
I’d have to say Breaking the Habit and Figure .09. I still get goosebumps listening to Breaking the Habit and I once sang along to Figure .09 so passionately that i couldn’t speak the next day.
Waiting For The End.
same here dude, especially on the line “i never knew what it was like to be alone on a valentines day”
Valentine’s Day. I couldn’t breathe when I heard it first time. I rarely listen it, usually skip it in playlist, cause I’m too connected to the lyrics…
Roads untraveled
i think that the song that i have connected with the most would be Roads untraveled

you made that sound very clear and its true.
Papercut, Burning in the Skies and Breaking the Habit.
why did you choose those songs?
Somewhere I Belong is definitely that song for me. It always helped me through a lot back in the day and still does greatly. Without it, I’d probably be a way different person than who I am now.
Somewhere I belong will always be my favorite song and the one I am connected to the most due to the time in which it came out. Was a good time in my life.
Breaking The Habit
I would say Dedicated, Somewhere I Belong or So Far Away because they all remind me of different people for really good things that they did for me!!
i think breaking the habit was also one of the songs that got me to LOVE linkin park
song really connects to me and my parents life lol
a lot of LP songs are close and i feel connected with
just like burn it down … in pieces
but there are some songs, like lost in the echo that i just love but not feel connected to at all
yet i love them as much as i love the other songs lol
“Somewhere I Belong”. This one is like my reflection.
Also “What I’ve Done”. There was a period in my life when I used to be under pressure and just depressed. And this song helped me to get up, so since then it has become one of “my” songs.
