Watching my favorite childhood movie  mask of zorro :person_fencing::crossed_swords:

Hey,
I have to give you a movie recommendation for thanksgiving. It’s an old one, but most of you are probably to young to have heard of.
For me, it’s tradition to watch it every Christmas, but it’s actually about thanksgiving. :upside_down_face:
It contains all the drama, fun and love that family actually means.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Never read or seen any Harry Potter.

Have Just watched ‘Requiem for a Dream’

Never heard of.

If you not even have tried it, you don’t know what you are missing!
Start not with the movies. But the first book, in English. J.K. Rowling is just brilliant, her humour packed up in language awesome, her viewing on society hard but fun…
I’ve read it several times and listened to it read by Stephen Fry. He can read, just wow!

Can’t recommend. Or maybe I can’t sleep because of the screws.

Quite possible. How come I’ve never been interested in it. And I guees the first book was released more than 20 years ago.

As everyone was, hey, you have to read it, I was also, no, not me!!!
I think I started as the 4th was out. Right in English and was hooked immediately.
Really disappointed of the first movies so.

Not really. The books were a the pinnacle of mediocrity (mind you, this is coming from someone who doesn’t pick up a book unless they absolutley have to), the films were pretty solid though, great OSTs, John Williams did the first 3.

But you have tried :upside_down_face:

Yes, and I regret wasting my time with the books.
