What are you listening to this minute? Just curious

It’s a research program?

Scotland and Wales have fees, same range as England. In Europe it’s free in the Netherlands (some unis, not all) and Scandinavia. (At least for postgraduate study, not 100% for undergraduate).

For me not being a UK resident, I understand why there are fees. Unis actually work like they should, facilities are state of the art, there’s a plethora of tutors, help, assistance in every possible little thing you might need. It may be a bit expensive, yes, but I understand that the money is actually going somewhere to make things even better.
You seriously can’t imagine how bad education is here, in every level.

What do you mean?

For post grad I don’t know, but I was under the impression that undergrad was free

4 years of high school and 2 years of college taught me that you learn nothing in those stages of education (yes I know that’s an oxymoron).

Research is when you do well, research (lol), experiments and stuff instead of following classes. You deliver your findings in a large thesis/dissertation/essay type of thing at the end of the year.

I’ve looked into postgraduate in those countries for that reason but they don’t offer the course I want.

Haha, it’s bad from pre-k till uni. But it would take me ages to describe even just how bad uni is. I’m just gonna tell you that I’ve been waiting for almost a year to get a freaking paper (not the papyrus) that says I’m done with uni due to laziness and basically nothing working as it should.

No, I know that. It’s just that the ‘it’s’ part of your question threw me off a bit. No, my course isn’t a research one. My first year I think is over 50% exams.

I should have typed “is it”. I can’t grammar at this hour.
I hope you have a great start  (a bit early but anyways)

‘Is it’ would have been correct, you wrote ‘it’s’ which is ‘it is’

I’ve been making a lot of typos recently too :stuck_out_tongue:

@evooba Amidst all this, weren’t you supposed to study music somewhere in UK? (I think you mentioned this few months back).

All the best @the_termin8r for your studies too

Yeap, I’m looking at music courses (business/management/marketing pathway) and have found quite a few that I really like. Fees vary, scholarships and loans are not easy to get hence the job first (and during studies if necessary).

You haven’t tagged anyone with it because you’ve put punctuation in the tag. If it’s a tag it will be highlighted white. And the tag is @everyone not @everybody

ok I´m supp to be dumb??? @Rob

edit follows:

Whoa. Where did you get that from? I never called you dumb or even suggested it. Let’s not jump the guns. I was just pointing out your error so that you know why it wasn’t working.
