I liked this movie a lot when I saw it first. I never got an opportunity to see it again. I think there was a song named “If you love me” or “When you love me” which was my favorite from the movie. Time to visit youtube.
Love this movie, have listened to the soundtrack for hours.
Love Glen Hansard and catching every opportunity to see him live.
One of my favourite songs.
So sweet those two.
In the beginning
Many, many, many LP interviews… still searching for that video.
By posting the song “if you want me”, you “satisfy me”.
@anna834 the soundtrack is pretty neat. Including that “broken hearted s**ker hoover guy”. Nah, the whole movie was good. Now I want to see this movie again.
Do it
And I also can recommend the “the swell season” its the documentary about Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, their love and it’s defeat. Painfully honest.
Thanks for the recommendation. I will try to find The Swell Season which I think will be a lot difficult but I will share an update.
You know what, I like your posts. They’re more interesting than most. Keep posting your stuff and I’ll be happy. I agree with the above, except I do do law because I work in the legal sector (but it’s for a charity so I’m not evil, despite what some people on here think!).
someone’s stillllllll stuck on something
I don’t think anyone does, much less me
Ot:
And one more uninteresting song that’s been on repeat
Sleep tight
This one comes with full lyrics which have a very special meaning to me…
I feel so extraordinary
Something’s got a hold on me
I get this feeling I’m in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
I don’t care 'cause I’m not there
And I don’t care if I’m here tomorrow
Again and again I’ve taken too much
Of the things that cost you too much
I used to think that the day would never come
I’d see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
When I was a very small boy
Very small boys talked to me
Now that we’ve grown up together
They’re afraid of what they see
That’s the price that we all pay
And the value of destiny comes to nothing
I can’t tell you where we’re going
I guess there was just no way of knowing
I used to think that the day would never come
I’d see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
I feel so extraordinary
Something’s got a hold on me
I get this feeling I’m in motion
A sudden sense of liberty
The chances are we’ve gone too far
You took my time and you took my money
Now I fear you’ve left me standing
In a world that’s so demanding
I used to think that the day would never come
I’d see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
I used to think that the day would never come
I’d see delight in the shade of the morning sun
My morning sun is the drug that brings me near
To the childhood I lost, replaced by fear
I used to think that the day would never come
That my life would depend on the morning sun
