Hey @HakManLP
Yea, I’m a wash real german

Thanks for the tip.
I saw him at the bowel (on YouTube) but didn’t find the time to listen further into it.
Truth is that against other rumours :sunglasses: my range to heavy music ends with Die Ärzte, Nirvana and Linkin Park.
So I already thought about how to say this to you. It’s way more easy to be hipped about other recommendations then to dislike them.
But hey! I’m hipped! Really!
Never There got me even choked up.
I will for sure go deeper!
Thank you!

It’s just amazing. Years of so little input and always the same music.
And now, I didn’t know were to find the time to really hop in all the new music I like.
Still busy to go deeper into @the_termin8r recommendation Hilltop Hoods. And while I just started to like Hip Hop, especially in live concerts, I also want to go in @jrtrussell s NF.
To that I also loved @framos1792 Tyler Joseph strip down their hits. But not sure if Twenty One Pilots is anything for me.
Yeah, and still also on Snow Pilot.
To that all the other recommendations here I listen to.
And over all for ever and always in between LP.
What fun!
:hugs:

I’d definitely recommend them. Incredible musicians. There’s nobody better at lyric writing than my boi Tyler Joseph in my opinion. Very deep and meaningful songs.

I’m in left field that’s all
I’d say soja for deep and meaningful, or brad paisley for being witty, em for sharp witty lines too

Double meaning lyrics and stuff like that is what I appreciate

Sum 41 isn’t that typical “heavy music”. At first they are a US-Punk Band or Alternative Band like Blink 182 (same music epoch) or The Offspring. But they found that ‘heavy alternative punk metal’ again, so it’s just awesome.
Deryck was incredible at the Bowl and just nailed ‘the catalyst’ - Not the same like Chester, but really really good

I really liked ‘DÄ’ until I saw them 2008 at Open Flair - It was good, but after that they really dissapointed me.

Maybe you check out some off the other ‘Nu Metal Era’ Bands like KoRn, Deftones, System of a Down, Papa Roach, Disturbed for example. I think SlipKnot will be ‘too heavy’, when you say ‘heavy music’ ends with LP, DÄ and Nirvana

Or just try Don Broco - they were the Support Band for Mike Shinoda in Germany and these guys are just making good music in my opinion

Always remind: music is a buffet, not a ‘one meal to go’ - so just try it :metal:t2:
