Brand New - The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me
Such a powerful record, a staple in the emo genre and definitely a reccomendation. But, read along with the lyrics in Genius or somewhere, because they’re really necessary to appreciate the record. Not that the instrumentation isn’t great - the drumming and guitar work on this record is incredible and really good at capturing the emotion - but the lyrics are the most special part of this record, very powerful and emotional and essential to the experience.
