More than less.

Each number says how many mines are in the 8 spaces remaining.

For example you have a grid of 9x9.
Start in the corner.
The number that appear is 3.
There are 3 possible spaces around it.
That means that the 3 spaces are mines.

In other case:
You start in the corner.
The number is 2.
There are 3 possible spaces around it.
That means that just 2 spaces are mines.
You have to risk and click on one of these 3 spaces.
In case you hit, the remaining 2 are mines.

In case you want to play. You can also start for the corner with the easy level.

When you get the enough experience you can try other level.

In the image you can see the upper left corner (where are the 2, 2 and 4.)
I started there, and according to the numbers and their position I can find the mines.

The 2 (above 4) says that in the spaces remaining are 2 mines.
The other 2 (left 4) says the same.
But the 4 has 5 spaces remaining.

How do you know which one is not the mine?
Just “read the number” and you will see the answer :smile:

Once you understand the “lecture” you will find fun this game.
