I share that feeling, I love talking, I talk a lot, but with people I know. With strangers I’m really shy, it’s hard for me to talk to them (this year I didn’t talk to my classmates until like two months after the classes started hehe). With you guys is easier because I can’t see you, if we were in the same room I would probably be far from you thinking of how stupid I feel for being like that

Rock, the only rapper I follow is Mike, just because it’s Mike. When I listen to music I have to sing/rap (that’s why I don’t listen to instrumental songs) and I’m not good at rapping

In my case is not that I don’t like them, I’ve heard songs that are really good, but I like to sing, not rap. I’m ok with Mike because in LP songs usually when Mike is rapping Chester is singing. But I can’t even listen to The Rising Tied from beginning to end without wanting to change and sing something for a little while…

It’s easier with people we can’t see and also with people who understand us, who have similar interests, with friends.
It’s very common for introverts to be like this. But I think it’s getting better over the years, slowly, we become more skilled in socializing.
But it’s also our strength, because we are thinkers. I read an article somewhere that introvercy is also needed in the society and work environment, because we have a different view on things, different thinking. And that it’s wrong that today’s society prefers extroverts everywhere. We shouldn’t feel stupid for this, never. It’s just what we are and whether the others will accept it or not, I don’t care 
The two things do not exclude each other. See, I am a teacher and do lectures in front of dozens of people and somehow I stopped having a problem with it over the years 
But I still have problem starting to talk to foreign people :DD
Anything is possible, don’t give up on your dreams
