That’s an adjective. Completely different meaning (and pronunciation) than live.
Life as @EvoOba is a noun, but live can have 2 meanings: 1) Again as @EvoOba said it’s a verb or 2) it can mean live as in in person.
E.g. (these aren’t situations I’m in, they’re just examples 
)
-My life sucks
-I’m going to see a live LP show
-I live just down the road
You probably know this already but live (eg 2) is pronounced l-eye-v and live (eg 3) is liv (the i is pronounced the same as in the word ‘in’)
