So guys… question for techno experts: could a pc stay on the whole night and day without having issues? Because I don’t know whatever do to have a warm spot for the baby bird… I’m going crazy really… :see_no_evil:

Yeah, a PC can stay on for over 24h, especially if it’s not doing anything strenuous and has cooling (i.e. the air channels aren’t clogged up with a decade’s worth of dust), it’s not exactly efficient as you’re just wasting electricity and power, but it should be fine. Using it as a bird heater on the other hand isn’t recommended, you’ll generate negligible useful heat and you’ll waste electricity and power in the process.

If you need heat, use a different approach. Like place it on a working radiator or a hot water bottle. Wrapping the bird up is all well and good but it won’t do anything unless the bird is producing its own body heat.

Thank you!!! :smile: yeah, I know that it should be in a incubator till it doesn’t have its own feathers… but…it’s just a try… as I said before really I don’t know if all I’m doing works…
