At age 13, during my first year of high school, all of my friends were listening to it, they made me listen to “What I’ve Done”, and I was hooked, they became my favourite band of all time.
It was 1999, I was 10 and in fifth grade. I’m 28 now. Time flies.
I’ve been listening to linkin park ever since I was 17 years old back in 2001 I’m 31 now and still a fan of linkin park 
I was 16 2000 when Hybrid Theory came out. I was hooked since then. Never got to see them till 2014 Carnivores Tour because of my own fucked up choices. They rocked the place with 30 Seconds to Mars !!! Had pit tickets ready for the Aug 19th in Tampa… Glad I got to see them once atleast. Keep Rockin in Heaven brother. There is a shit ton of happy angels up there right now screamin their fucking hearts out !!!
* Martin Crane voice * Aww gee. I feel old now haha! I was 22 when One Step Closer came out and remember the sheer joy of finally hearing metal, rap and scratching being… erm… so beautifully… smooshy melded together type thing.
I think I should have had some caffeine before I started typing this.
Also did anyone else go through a phase of saying “MR. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHN” after Hybrid Theory came out or was that just me?

Since I was 15. It was 16 years ago. Love them with all my heart. 
They saved me from my anxiety, my loneliness, my sadness, and they were accompanying me in my best days. They’re the band of my life.
