It was. In my early LPU years I used to spent hours in there.
Wowā¦ so great i wish i wouldāve joined forums earlierā¦ still better late than never. Love yāall
Yes, I would spend all night and almost all weekend in the LPU chats, even waking up early to get into chat on the weekends. In the early days, the guys would jump in chat at random, too, completely unscheduled and talk with us for a little. It would instantly go bananas in the chat once they did join, but it was still awesome to have that chance for them to pop in unannounced. I think Iāve only ever seen Mike and Joe pop in while I was in chat.
Sounds so nice.
What! Mike and joe too?!!!
I missed everythingā¦ and itās not gonna come back! Thats soo bad !! ā¦
I know right?
I remember one day, during LPU9, Mike just popped in unannounced and it was only me and one other person in the chat at the time, it was SO good chatting with him like that. He was talking to us like we were friends for a long time, I was amazed.
Honestly, I miss the good old LPU years. Itās not the same anymore.
Wow!!! Youāre lucky! soooo nice!
Someone on the same boat with me
Amazing guysā¦ yāall really had a great time. Embrace the memoriesā¦ you were the lucky ones

Quick ASP:
Thereās a meet up tomorrow at 8PM CEST
Will try my bestā¦ though i know it wonāt be ā¦ it would be 23:30 hereā¦ i may be asleepā¦
LOL. Our old meets usually went up to midnight BST for those of us who wanted to stay longer . I usually spend 4-5 hours per meet even though you can stay as long as you want.
Yeah lol but its not that big lol. It it was in my hand i am ready to stay awake whole night. But my bro wonāt let me use his laptop whole night. So a little bit less lol.
Wow! He did that in LPU9!?!? Thatās awesome!!! Do you have any screenshots?
I had a similar encounter with Mike. It was around the time 8-bit Rebellion! was released, and the three of us just chatted mainly about music, and the updates to the website at the time. I still have all my screenshots from that night.
Come to think of it, during the making of A Thousand Suns, Mike was hanging around the community a lot. Between the chat rooms on both linkinpark.com, and the LPU, and his somewhat-regular Ustream hangouts, and his blog, it was awesome on his part to stay in touch with us the way he did.
That would have been lovely.
Can i get the complete schedule of meets??
