I just want to know what he was feeling or if he was on something or what was happening. This was the band, that was the man I planned on having my kids see in concert one day, I planned to grow old with this band

He seemed so happy this album cycle, the other guys in the band too. You could see it in the interviews, the shows. I cant believe it… the ‘why’ questions are just going through everyone right now

I don’t think it was the negative pressure, that’s nothing compared to the rest of the good fanbase right now…
This is not something you plan to do…it just pops out and you do it without think about it…sigh…
Chester has had a hard year. Today is Chris Cornell’s birthday, a dear friend to Chester. But, here I was finally getting over Chris Cornell’s death…why, Chester?

The other thing that devastates me is thinking about the band’s future. I wanted them to have a great tour, make another 10 great albums with Chester… just why??

I hope Lp will survive this as a band, and they will continue to make music. It’s not going to be the same without Chester. I grew up listening to them, and they helped to get through so much stuff… I can’t believe it happened.

I think he was on something to take the sadness off of him from the fact that his good friend Chris Cornell killed himself. Today is Chris’s birthday, so he might’ve been sitting vigil for him, and with the drugs or alcohol, who knows, could’ve been a terrible terrible accident from an impulsive feeling that he never would’ve even considered if sober, just my speculation
