I’ve written this brief opinion about One More Light. I could have written much more, but I didn’t want to beat around the bush xD
It’s such a personal, emotional and mature record. Every song, from the beginning to the end, has made me feel something, personal stories with a deep background, and I’ve felt really connected, and identified, to every track. Indeed, this musical style is not directed towards people who only like rock. There’s a mixture of several styles, but this is nothing new. Linkin Park’s been experimenting with their work since Minutes to Midnight. I would highly recommend this album to people who likes music in general, though, paying attention to the lyrics, because they are beautiful in so many ways, and you will probably feel connected to them too. However, I have to admit that I also loved this sound. It is fresh, and I think it perfectly fits these themes.
In conclusion, One More Light is an album which talks about life itself, and life entails lots of things, problems, but it also entails the strength to get over them and keep fighting with hope.
That being said, one more time, they didn’t let me down. Time to enjoy this album over and over again, and a show in Madrid (FINALLY!)

It’s amazing how One More Light captures the vibes of both dead by sunrise (vocals of talking to myself) and fort minor (the chorus of invisible sounds like welcome and sorry for now is a similar concept to where’d you go).

Read the comments in every thucking post of lp on facebook!!! These people are tireless… They were never fans… They liked the album Hybrid Theory not the band and if they ever make a second hybrid theory these “fans” won’t be happy because “lp are not original and they reproduce their old ideas”…
Music and people are evolving let them do what they feel better…If you like it buy it and support it ,if you don’t like it find a nice way to express your opinion or shut it and go away!!

Men, Idk why they hate the new and fresh stuffs of LP and still looking for “nu metal” from them.
I understand how they feel about the band’s new look but come on people, You all shoulda still appreciate and support the band even if they’re moving up from old to new.
One of my top 10 favourite songs of lp is burn it down…I love it at concerts with all the energy the screams etc but I seriously fell in love with the acoustic version… It is mesmerizing …
The reason for the above opinion is that they are evolving…even their older songs and that’s not bad…that’s creativity…
And to be brutally honest I never liked much HT… but I gave their music a chance when I listened to Meteora…
They are artists…they create from their souls they deserve respect…
