"One More Light" Mega-Topic, Out Now!

I live in American, what about you where are you from.

2017 and people still labeling Linkin Park as a pure Nu Metal band that didn’t have to make this song/album

Also can’t wait to see the video. @evooba Where did you get that pic?

Alright that cool can’t wait. Thanks for telling me.

Singapore. Which state?

So guys, I listened to Heavy quite a lot the past days. I have to say that I like it, even though I was shocked first as it got released. The lyrics are awesome in my opinion and overall the song is kind of an earworm.
Chester said in an interview, that they wanted to produce songs everyone likes to listen to, to whistle, or to sing them. I can understand why they chose a more mainstream based direction for the album.
I also showed the song to friends who are not into Linkin Park and who listen more to Pop music and other mainstream things. Everyone said they liked the song.
For me it seems, Linkin Park will be creating a much more bigger base or people who get into them.

EDIT: Did someone hear Mike’s singing on the live performance on Burn it down? He really improved his singing. I cant wait to hear him on upcomming songs^^

Honestly, I hate everything about the first verse except the lyrics. Once I get past the first verse, I like the song. Chester’s singing is too forward at the beginning and it’s not his strongest moment vocally. If he was singing like he sang on the bridge of ā€œIn The Endā€ or something, then you could make his voice that clear and isolated. Then, with the off-putting vocals, I look to the instrumentation to buffer it, but the drums are so fake and when they come in it’s even more off-putting. Once the first chorus hits, I remember why I like the song…I just wish Chester took a different direction with the vocals on the first verse. It’s lacking energy. Just because the notes are low doesn’t mean it doesn’t need energy. sigh :frowning:

@evkorngdlpid That cool how is it over there tell me.

I live New York-Northeastern of the United States

What you?

I also looked up that the song heavy is on the billboard

The song is awesome. I have yet to hear it on the radio, jackbutts -.-

My favorite part in the song was the part people complained about :3 and I love how Chester says unnecessary :B

I watched her on the late night show and I’m not sure if she’s shy or not but she didn’t…I couldn’t hear her that good :frowning:

She dresses very odd… but she’s a very pretty girl.

I heard it on the radio at work the other day and my coworker was like ā€œIs this a christian band?ā€ I was like ā€œLol! No…this is Linkin Park.ā€ and she was like ā€œWhat? No way…it sounds like a christian band.ā€ Weird…

Sounds like a Christian band? Well that’s the first time I’ve heard of that reaction to it lol
