Who knows that will be on the next album as well, lol. Just a fun mix of styles we’d never assume they’d ever dare to try.
Or they’ll just go back to HT Expected the unexpected
Just wait for their next lvl midlife crisis
is their one who will be pre ordering the new album and more of the stuff that will also be there.
I don’t buy music, I stream on spotify, but if I did buy I would totally pre-order. When I grow up and move out, I’m probably going to start collecting vinyl. So I’ll probably pre-order vinyl copies of records I expect to love.
Oh OK that’s awesome.
Look at the photo that Phoenix put on instagram. The tiitle on the paper is - Invisible ( (I hope I read the word right, and it’s not a lie) - the name of the song on the album. Coincidence?
Mike: “alright guys, we got a little surprise for you. This next song is called Invisible”…
whole band runs off stage
Perhaps they’ll play it on the show?
Why is everything so Invisible?
Cloooooosing eyyyyes
So much more than I can see
Behold! Evidence Brad actually does stuff on the album WITH his guitar!
Naa that’s just spectacle
Well, maybe they’re not going to play aanything new today, who knows? Though, this show is a good opportunity for LP to attract nore attention. I’m praying for the new single
What they are doing a another song when is it going to come out.
I hope the next single doesn’t come so soon. The release window is so large, they could end up releasing literally half the album if they release singles so rapid fire. They should only release 2 to 3 singles before they release the album. Promotional singles shouldn’t be the only type of single. 2 promotional singles and 3 post-album singles, if you ask me. Plus, I don’t want to have my 2 singles so soon and then have to wait the rest of the 3 month window to listen to the rest. I would rather have a more controlled and moderate release for singles that builds hype steadily for the album.
Pay close attention people, this is the truest thing said in this thread. Just cause you love something doesn’t mean you have to accept everything they say or do as perfection. Positive criticism is an awesome thing.
I agree I was thinking max 3 and that’s one a month until May heavy in feb one in March and one in April! But the music video for heavy should drop before the Next single! And Im actually exited to see how this sounds live so ready for tomorrow am!!
You are so right positive criticism is how people get better at what they do! I mean you don’t have to be like this shit sucks but you also don’t have to be like “I don’t like this but I’m gonna LOVE it goes it’s LP” ! I mean straight up there a few songs I highly dislike the LP made! (Not gonna list them cause I don’t wanna trigger people and get bashed lol) I happen to enjoy heavy but that’s not because it’s LP but because I believe it’s a genuine good song in my opinion!
Last thing I want to say is mike hinted at a poppy style when he said expect the unexpected here’s my theory: THP was the heaviest album they made and it was made because the band did not like the present state of rock music and it was actually pretty anti pop! So with that in mind what do you least expect for the next album : pop which is kind of what we got! But ever since ATS I’ve learned not to expect anything or guess anything cause there’s no point and there is a HIGH chance you don’t guess right! I’ll be honest at first I kinda thought they were gonna continue in the THP direction but a lil different but i wasn’t really like I expected them to just a hunch which was clearly wronggg
Hey, I predicted an RnB-rock hybrid album. I was way off, even though I made an intentionally outlandish guess. But I don’t like everything the band has ever done, I think Crawling and Until It Breaks are flat out annoying, One Step Closer is super cringey (an opinion I got attacked for on youtube once ), and I don’t really care for the remix albums. I also hated Living Things, although I’ve come around on it a bit, I still only like about half the album. I try to be as objective as I can, and if I fail that’s fine. I’m human after all, and humans are naturally prone to bias.
