There aren’t currently any announced concerts in the US, and if you’re low in money, I wouldn’t try to go to an out-of-country show.
As for getting the album early, only two songs have been released. The album will most likely leak a little early, but you won’t find access to it early here
Ty for replying I’m Kris been a huge lp fan since in the end came out as a single they single handedly got me into rock music I used to b (don’t laugh) a pop princess rock suits me the best the lyrics their energy n anger n thoughtful lyrics catch my interest much more hardly any pop music is catchy to me ever since I became a rock girl how bout u jFar920? What song got u listening to Linkin Park?
Oooookay, I have apparently returned at an odd time. . .
Anyway, been listening to Battle Symphony a lot lately and found that once I ditched my expectations of what I wanted from the new album, I realized I actually like what I’m hearing. I still don’t like Kiiara’s part in Heavy but oh well. Looking forward to the third and final single before the album drops.
I still don’t think Battle Symphony is a full single. Rebellion and Wretches and Kings were released before their albums were out, too
@khyatt1, not to sound rude, but talking about that here would be pretty off-topic. We have a topic just about where we first heard Linkin Park here:
But to save you time from searching for my post in there, my first song was Numb
Just a get to know u question I didn’t realize there’s specific topics for a run of the mill question in a conversation have u heard more from this album? I heard that it’s all like heavy tone wise
Yeah, especially the song “Heavy”.
Don’t know if anybody posted that interview here, just seems interesting)
Some interesting things Mike and Chester revealed today in regarding the album. I’ll blur them out in case someone doesnt want to feel spoiled. They aren’t that big of spoilers actually.
Today mikeshinoda said Good Goodbye is a hip hop track that doesnt fit in with any other song on OneMoreLight. Has a sarcastic tone to it.
Also Sharp Edges has a country vibe to it.
I’ll just say that makes me nervous
Whoah that’s interesting… good goodbye sounds nice but idk if I’ll be exited or nervous about sharp edges?? Country??
I’ll be pretty excited about the country flavor! After all country doesn’t mean banjo anymore haha there’s more and more rock influence in it nowadays
Chester’s giddy up now makes sense
I mean, country is just supposed to be music with a southern edge and lyrics that most Americans can relate to. Listen to Sturgill Simpson, he’s country but he sounds so good. The problems I have with country are that a lot of it feels very samey, and modern country is terrible. It all is country trying to be pop or trying to be rock and not trying to be country. If you want to fuse genres that’s fine, but they never do it for the sake of making good mysic. It’s always for the sake of getting a hit song.
If I had to pick a genre that I disliked more than any other, it would be modern country music. I cannot tell any male country singer’s voice apart
Cmon, Castle Of Glass was basically folk/country with electronic influences and it was good, same with Devil’s Drop. They’ll make it right lol
Also, Idk you guys, but this version reminds me to X Ambassadors style.
well, I think I like this version slightly better than the original
I was going to say the same about “Castle of Glass” having significant country/folk sounds to it. I’m not too nervous about one song being kinda country and one song sounding kinda hip-hop, but I am nervous about a song “not fitting with the rest of the album.” I love the way Linkin Park constructs albums as a whole and I don’t want them to lose that.
