LPU11 Laminates - SA

Orderd mine on the 23rd of July… still waiting… such a mission to get merch in SA…

Still waiting over here… Even called the post office! Lolz

Hey, I got mine within 3 weeks of ordering, I think on the 23rd hey. But you know what South Africa is like regarding these matters. Still, I hope you get yours soon

Guys I realize it delivered August 24 and still did not get the confirmation email sent to my country! I’m from Argentina

More people I have heard of have received and I havent :frowning:

mine was posted on the 13th of August  still waiting

23 July posted…
04 September, still not received.
Nervous much?

you should be asking in your PO. anyway i ordered LPU a week earlier than you, and it arrived last week. so i guess it’s just average to take that amount of time I guess.

I ordered the same day as you (23 July) and finally arrived today!

I’m sure you will receive soon… It’s only a matter of time

I’m with the same problem here in Brazil…

I ordered this in 07/19/12 and I’m still waiting.

The show will be in next month and I don’t have my pack yet :frowning:

I got a feeling that the local post-offices had decided to nick them for themselves… [cry][cry][cry]

crossing fingers that the package comes through this week… [neutral]

Which type of shipping did you select, Siobhan? I also haven’t received mine yet.

Jus got mine today. SA Post office charges R330!!!

You should receive a post office slip (in the post) that indicates you have a package waiting for you at .the SA post office!

The LPU laminate is pretty cool!

You should be receiving yours soon!

Btw where in SA are you?

I just received a call that mine could be at the post office and need to pay an absurd amount of duties. Will let you know if I received it tomorrow. The question I have is why is the duty so high on the merch? Someone has to know? We need to find out. Sounds like a rip-off to me…

Received mine two weeks ago, but I agree that the amount of custom duties that had to be payed to the SA Post Office was a total rip-off…

I paid a ridiculous tax around $30…

Sheez, that is insane. We are paying around $40, for a $60 package! Does anyone know how the amount for duty is calculated?

So I checked again, ordered 23rd but posted 31st of July 2012 - I ordered via normal post to my home address and still no slip received in the post :frowning: I believe the duties are crazy… What can we do right? I am in Johannesburg…

Hello everyone! I have not received my LPU package either - mine was shipped on 1 August. 7 weeks and counting :frowning:

I’m more concerned about what it means if my package doesn’t arrive. Will I still be able gain early access, if granted, or attend the meet and greet???

I am sure it will all work out; for the US tours, there were many complaints about the tickets arriving late too, but if you showed your receipt and the seats you purchased as proof of purchase, there should be no problems in getting into the concert or the meet and greet.

Well I am from the States and planning on vacationing in South Africa for 2 weeks; I’d be arriving a few days before the concert in Capetown; if anyone needed an extra lanyard, I’d be willing to give mine up now that the US tours are done, in exchange for a tour around Capetown. I thought a tour guide was included in the travel package and it wasn’t. It is just an offer and it would be cool to meet up with a LP fan in another country anyway.
