Well get this: summit is ment to be an international event. Problem is that most of us need a visa to Russia and it takes time and money to get one (yeah I’m checking that shit out now). From the managements point of view it’s better to make a summit in Germany/UK/France than in Russia i think. And I don’t have anything to Russian fans, I have some friends there. It’s just the visa problem that’s all

Well, visa is kinda pain in the ass, but not that hard to get. And we need visas to go to Europe, so it is both ways. We did visas to go to London and Chicago, so now, I think it would be fair to do summit in our country, so we woudn’t have to deal with visas. Then they could do also one in Europe. Summer is long.

About international summit. Not every country in eastern Europe needs visa to go to Russia. And some asian countries don’t need visas either. Summit usually holds about 300 people, so I’m sure we’ll have enough people to fill up the summit.

You’re right I must say. It would be good to know if there will be a summit cause time is running out and you don’t get visa in one day you know

C’mon, we deserve summit at our place! Besides, we have more trouble getting European or Asian countries, Australia or USA. Much because of money.
So, you had that, why can’t we? This year?

Maybe not this time, but in the future, we will definitely have an LPU Summit. I really believe, that it’s in our hands. We should be the best fans for the fourth time and show the guys how Russia loves them. Especially in Saint-Petersburg[biggrin] I hope, that dreams come true…)

Please, do another summit in St.Petersburg with your only solo show in whole european tour! If Adam can’t come, it doesn’t mean summit can’t be done. You know, how nice and appreciative russian fans are!
We have enough LPUers to fill out the summit.

I think we can all agree on the fact that every country deserves an International LPU Summit, if there is just one LPU member there. The problem is getting people to the Summit.

While I absolutely hope that LP will some day hold a Summit in Russia, it might not be as international as one could hope, what with the difficulties getting Visa to enter the country.

I have nothing against Russia or Russian LP fans, but when a Summit is held in our part of the world (Europe+Russia), doing the Summit in some European country seems much more easy, because people from all over Europe will be able to easily attend, mostly because of the European Union and travel expenses.

I want LP to come to Denmark and host a Summit there, but I know it’s never going to happen, so I will be more than satisfied with having to travel to Manchester, Lyon, Venice, or whatnot to attend a Summit.

But, I still hope that you guys some day will get the Summit to your country, whether it will be in Moscow, St. Petersburg, or some other big city.

I have nothing against Russia or Russian LP fans, but when a Summit is held in our part of the world (Europe+Russia), doing the Summit in some European country seems much more easy, because people from all over Europe will be able to easily attend, mostly because of the European Union and travel expenses.

As I said before, russian fans (and not only) need visas almost to every country in the world. And also travel expences. I personally traveled to Chicago. I think, it would be FEAR to do summit here to help us avoid visas and travel expenses. And some countries around Russia don’t need visas to come here. Summits are limited for entry anyway. It’s about 300 people.
Talking about distances. They did Summit in Australia, which is waaaaay farther from Europe, then Russia and waaay more expensive.
And what about south american fans? It’s far and some people need visas to go there. Does it mean they don’t deserve Summit either?

LP did 2 summits in Europe, 1 in Japan, 1 in Australia and 1 in US (2nd is coming). I don’t mind European summits at all, BUT, I think they could totally do more summits outside Europe and US. In this tour Russia would be the perfect place. It’s the only show without festival. I wonder, why they didn’t. Was is too inconvenient to organize?
