If you look at the cheapest plan I’d say the only mild motivation for me to get it is the music (and maybe the early ticket access). Having to pay for forum access and blog access and what not is nothing short of plain idiotic considering those features are free on most webistes.
If you are one of those people that can afford going to many shows then maybe. Otherwise I don’t see why someone who’s not interested in the web part would benefit from a membership, no matter how big of fan they consider themselves.
I really think it’s gotten harder for fans to join and not easier, plus, let’s be honest, the feautures it offers the last years aren’t the greatest and definitely not worth the $60. I think that’s reason why a lot of old members (before X) didn’t rejoin.

For me the reason to be a soldier is, to join with other people under the ideals and human right mentioned bottom, lp is based on. To share the same ideals at least, to feel not alone and together with others, wishing a change of general public society. For me beeing LPU´er is sure the VIP Packages, cause it´s cool to give (them all at the same level, ) genious people, who helped me with their music a lot and still do , to give this person your hand and enjoy there unpretentious way of beeing with their fans. Then the spirit and energy you got in such shows, at least a very huge energy impact, that help me to go on. And to be a part of that spirit, I´m a Storm Trooper #WEARELPU

I’m agree with you an! I’m here cause I’m looking for the benefits. Sometimes, I say that LPU is a group of fan with benefits. Sounds more hilarious than friend with benefits right? Hahahha

I’ll agree with this. Considering the majority of the people who join LPU do it solely for MnG’s and pre-sales.
As far as prices, this stuff is only worth as much as you’d want to pay. I bitch about the $160 shirts but I have to say, $99 for the ultimate package, for what I am getting, is worth it to me.

Yup! Pre-sale ticket! That’s the benefit that I’m looking for.
Especially for member who lives in US or Canada, which shipping cost must be cheaper than the outside of US and Canada, it’s totally worth!
15 is here and I’m already in love with it. I love the design and the site (it reminds me a bit of the old LP.com that was under sparkart).
I’m pleased to see the basic bundle was dropped to $40 and they added the skate deck to the limited one. Those are definitely worth their money.
This year seems promising so let’s see how it goes!

Also, the one thing I’m iffy about is the 6 download songs. Will these ever see a CD release? If LPU16 continues the trend I guess they could be on that CD with the first set of 16 or something
You can buy the cd (physical or digital) in the store. It’s included in the bundle.
