It was amazing, I had wanted to see them since I saw the Live 8 performance and I was only 8, so at 17 I finally saw them in Camden front row. It was a life changing experience.
AMAZING! It was the 2012 Honda Civic Tour at the Mohegan Sun Arena (Connecticut), and I drove 4 hours to get there. Totally worth it!
I can’t believe it took me this long to see one of their concerts considering that I’ve been a fan since HT. They are amazing live… such a great stage presence. When I was watching them perform I had one of those “I can’t believe I’m in the same building as LP moments.” Can’t wait for the next concert!
Outstanding!
My first LP concert was Projekt Revolution 2004 at the Woodlands Pavilion. I was fourteen, I had been in the LPU for a little over 6 months, and it was another stiflingly hot and humid Houston day. Actually it felt hotter than normal because earlier in the day it had rained. Most of the Woodlands Pavilion is a big lawn behind a smaller cluster of seats, and the mosh pit had turned into a long muddy slip-and-slide. I remember that the first thing I saw when I walked in the gates were a group of people cover from head to toe in mud. LP got onstage later in the evening just as everything was beginning to cool off. Regardless of the millions of mosquito bites I ended up with that night was the best. I don’t think I’ve had a concert going experience quite like it since. I screamed myself hoarse, and ended up going to the first day of high school exhausted but very happy.
So, in one word, unbeatable.
It was over a year ago. Wednesday, November 21st, 20122 exactly! My first gig ever I’m going to Linkin Park live in Jakarta, Indonesia! proud That was nuts
[quote=EvoOba]Amazing, too many emotions rushing through my body. I still thought I was dreaming when the concert ended. Best experience ever!
My first time was in Munich. LP was a very “young” band and smash the music world with the best live performance I´ve ever seen. 13 years later…Never can reach her.
THX LP for 6 great unforgettable concerts.
November 10th 2012… Waited 12 Years for them to come to SA… And it was EPIC!! Had a party and a half… My legs were killing me from bouncing up and down and my throat was raw from singing along… Made me very happy
My first Linkin Park concert was Projekt Revolution in Bristow, VA. All of the other bands were good and I especially liked when Chester came out to sing with Chris Cornell, but when Linkin Park started to perform all of the other bands were easily forgotten. Best first concert ever.
06.06.2012. Romania.Travelled 12 hours, and of course it was worth it.I got be at the first row,I ran like a maniac to get there XD When I watch their concerts on youtube I still cant believe I saw them, just a few metres away from me.Hope to get M&G on this new european tour. :))
my first concert was in 2007 and it was the best night of my life [smile][biggrin] so many emotions!
i got to meet them and i gave them all roses and made them a hybrid theory bear! then i got to front row, where i held up a big sign i had made! i got the setlist and 13 guitar picks and Chester blew me a kiss at the end of the show! such a beautiful and perfect first time [heart][biggrin] so excited to see them twice next year!!!
It was a day I will never forgte, I’d been longing to see them since I was 13 (I’m 24 now) and they were everything I had dreamed they would be. Best concert I’ve ever seen!!!
my first concert was on June 6. 2011 in Hamburg! It was awesome, I`m from the beginning LP fan, and only then could the concert and now i hope to see them again in 2013 in Hamburg! The guys are just simply great!!!
all of them are great songs and the concert … which correspond almost exactly like the cd’s! I love their songs
mine was a dream come true it was everything & more thank you lp much love
I clearly remember the moment when I realized that I got to see LP live. It was more than 2 years ago.
I’ve been on Notre Dame the Paris musical with classical French cast. This was the best performance I’ve ever see in my live. It’s impossible to describe in poor words what I felt that day (awesome, amazing and so - just too faded). And I realized that the only thing that can strike me more is LP live concert.
I know it’s not about the initial question. I only want to say that I don’t have the right (and enough) words ever in my native Russian language to describe how was it.
What’s sad is that my memory of it is blurred, it’s like when you dream something and by the next morning you only remember bits of it. That what it’s like now, I only clearly remember something and other things are a blur of amazing-icredible-wonderfulness. My two best moments: seeing Mike perform Bleed It Out, I’ve never seen someone just throw themselves into a performance with such passion. And towards the end of the concert, when sparks were triggered to fall from the back of the stage and the lights started to fade, so I could just see Mike in silhouette with his head back and the microphone still to his lips. It took my breath away. I fell in love with Linkin Park all over again.
