Yea. I cut the strap from a cow skin. For the sewing I have to prick the holes first.
You just can’t something like that in a shop.

The thread is specially prepared with wax, so it last longer.
The wooden big thing you see in the pick is a kind of pliers to hold the straps in place while
pricking and sewing.
