I was always told that Evanescence was a Christian band, So I guess, I quite like them. I still haven’t heard they’re lasted album that came out last october though.

They were mistaken as a Christian band earlier in their career, but they’ve made it clear they weren’t.

When I started to listening of their songs, I thought they were just really good love/hate songs, about deep emotions until my boyfriend turned around and says to me “Do you really know what they are singing about?” I was couldn’t believe that all the songs were about reglion!
They are great bands, apparantly atheists don’t mine their songs either (according to some youbtube feedback)
Like Linkin Park has said, everyone interperats the songs differently.
Yeah same! I always thought it was about love/hate until my dad (he listens to RED)
was like; you know, that (most) their songs are about God. And i never realized that! I don’t know if i got used to interperate it as a love/hate song or for me being a atheist. But most important is that i enjoy listening to them and it won’t change just because most of their songs are about religion.
yeahhhh, im going to see them in april too! twice actually ^^
I actually really enjoy some ‘Christian Music’
It all depends on how you interpret the lyrics, I guess.
But my personal faves are Lifehouse and Switchfoot
The only song I listen to from Skillet is Whispers In The Dark, I think that song is awesome!
FIREFLIGHT,FIREFLIGHT,FIREFLIGHT,FIREFLIGHT,FIREFLIGHT -
It’s one of my biiig dreams to see them live! Dawn’s voice is sooo goood! Also they are always response on facebook
Also, Skillet - aaaawesome band! I haven’t been on their consert (only on autograph session in Moscow, November 26, 2011) but these guys are so good and kind! Hope at one day I can finally see them live too!
And… Building429 - pretty nice band too
My favorite Christian Rock groups are Flyleaf and Kutless.
If even Evanescense is a Christian rock band, what’s the definition of Christian rock so? [confused]
Does the band Alexisonfire is Christian rock too? It “sounds” like that.
I like Christian Rock and love Skillet, Switchfoot and P.O.D.) There is an opinion that “I Wish We’d All Been Ready” of Larry Norman is the anthem of this Rock. I’m agree with it)
Kinda need to check it out. I was raised religious. But I am not religious anymore. But I looked on youtube of some of the bands mentioned here, and some sounds really good!
What is your absolute favorite band then?
P.O.D. is amazing! I forgot about them. Youth of a Nation is one of my favorite songs of them!
Skillet, P.O.D. , Delirious?, Hillsong United
Tree63 and Fireflight are great
