Honestly I’m not very familiar with Stone Temple Pilots. Now, after Chester joined, I definately have to give them a try 
But I have to say that I’m a little bit concerned. Certainly it’s kinda stressful to be the leadsinger in two bands. And I’m afraid, that Chester could act out his rock affinity with STP and not as much with LP. Probably my worries are totaly unfounded.
As a huge fan of the original STP, I have mixed feelings about this. I’ll say first that I haven’t heard the song yet, so I can’t base any of this on that. I love Scott Wieland, and for me his voice will always be STP. However, given what his life has turned into, and the fact that he is no longer able to commit to the band I’m excited to see Chester as the new singer.
Before today I don’t think that I’ve heard of stone Temple Pilots before but I’m definitely gonna start listening to them if Chester is singing for them. I also think its could be good for LP in a way, maybe bring in some new musical influences for the band
