Lol. I think your bro is messing with you :rofl: I’m sure they have all it’s plans saved away in some archive. And if not, it’s been studied for hundreds of years, so I’m sure someone has measured it all out and recreated the plans for it.

It’s legit, Assad in’s creed unity was based in France and the makers took in surveying equipment when making the game :upside_down_face: they were some of the first to let it out that they had the scans still but they aren’t the only ones though, last I heard they were stitching together a bunch of different studies to get the most accurate measurements as possible but there’s literally over a terabyte if I do and scans from each study on it so they can get fairly close to what it was
It’s the intricacy that will be the difficult part if they’re to make it anything similar to why it was :pensive:

Oh dang. I didn’t realize all that. That’s cool. I think it’ll always be missing something now though. No matter how perfect they recreate all the details, it’ll still be missing the history, the weathering, the tradition, etc.

Yeah…I totally agree…
they were talking about how those measurements would allow them to recreate it with those imperfections in measurements like how if something wasn’t exactly aligned or if a wall was an inch out in a spot, that they’d be able to tell and recreate that imperfection as opposed to correcting it so there’d be that originality still there but…idk… when the paper gets crumpled up, you can’t straighten it out to a clean sheet no matter how hard you try :frowning::pensive:
