It’s not so common…so many people just hate it! 
You didn’t like what you were studying? 
It’s just that you put so much effort and passion in that and it may be frustrating when you don’t succeed…but I think that’s kinda the same when someone is trying to do something that they love. It’s just like that

Life did a lot of banging doors right into my face. And I had this time, were this lines had me survive:

You learn to need the things that stop you dreaming
All the things that stop you dreaming
And I stopped believing in wishes or dreaming. Just one day after another.
And it turned out, live can also be greatful and throw things at me, I never dared to dream of.
They are not very snuggly

Ohw…I totally feel you. I HATE humanistic subjects… I find them so boring too!
I have to say that you were so brave to take that step. I have to imagine that it was not an easy choice to make. But I’m glad that you found your happiness going back to be a shepherd. And I’m glad that you managed to find joy in such unexpected events. Not everyone is able to do that 
I guess they represent pretty well what life is about…it’s about “adapting”. I still believe in dreaming. My mom always says “do not expect anything or you will be disappointed. If you want something to happen, if it happens it will be a surprise otherwise it will not be a disappointment” ( don’t know if I made myself clear…not good enough at english )

It was ok. Cause it was the right choice for me.
What actually bucks me, I wanted to do the shepherd master, still want to. And applied for it a lot. But they always can’t get enough people together for a class. It is a dying profession.
