I also had problem. Gave error, I could only connect the chat after Chester had left.
It’s not the same problem though, what happened last time was worse. Chat completely crashed and no one was able to chat after a short period of time, this time it only locked people out near the end and didn’t kick hardly anyone out

The problem wasn’t limited to the end. I arrived shortly before Chester did, and I wasn’t able to get in. I’m genuinely happy to hear the chat itself worked better for people who managed to get in. Hopefully someone will post a video.
I saw one floating around on YouTube already, I won’t link to it because it’s frowned upon among others in LPU, making it less exclusive. Maybe the person will offer to give it to Adam for LPU instead

Thanks for the tip. Generally I agree with you: I hate, for example, that so many of the LPU-TV videos are on YouTube. But according to Twitter, this was the “BEST CHAT EVER” so I really want to see it! [smile]. Perhaps a band-aid solution would be for LPU to record all the chats and post them as LPU-TV episodes until they can figure out a permanent solution. It’s not as good as being able to participate, but if LPU members knew they’d have access to the chat later, it wouldn’t be so entirely frustrating to be locked out.
Even better would be to record straight from the computer the band member uses, better quality, less lag, and easier

If it were possible, I would love to go back to the old chat format (pre-LPUX). Though that wasn’t equip with video chatting, mods had a ton of control over everything (especially band member chats). One of the better features being the “mod-mode” when they could stop the flow of the chat and pass the questions worth asking, but the mods would always see everything and have to weed through all the spam no one could see to pull questions out.
I also liked the organized format of the mods calling out members in groups (usually three letters in the alphabet, like ABC, then DEF etc), it definitely made band chats more worth it for me, in my opinion. With the way they run now, I don’t bother showing up outside of a normal night.
I didn’t have a problem with the chat, it worked fine, but I thought it was funny that Chester gave up on the fast moving crap questions and just started singing.
