A: When I heard What I’ve done. So that’d put the date some time around the release of Transformers. Before that I was part of the mainstream hoard of sheeple.

A: All The Small Things by Blink-182
Q: What is your least favorite book and why?
A: “Gone with the Wind” because I was unable to handle the boring romance.
Q: What is your favorite book, and why?
A: Choreographies of souls by, mhh don´t know
B: You are in very serious situation, kind of family affairs, you´ve to choose, me or the other must left some blood now, in epic way of course, who had to pay?
A: The other person, whoever says ‘me’ is either being narrow minded or trying to sound cool, because if the situation was really that bad, our natural survival instinct of self preservation kicks in and we WILL protect ourselves first.
Q: Fiction or Non-fiction books?
A: Non fiction
Q: One skill you wish you had?
A: The skill of the character of Nick Naylor in “Thank You for Not Smoking”.
Q: Choose 1: You could perfectly play all the instruments OR you could fluently speak all the languages.
A: all languages
Q: soft cooked egg or hard boiled one? Eating in slices on bread or with a spoon salt onl or salt´n´pepper?
A: I’ve never had soft boiled egg, but hard boiled egg is terrible IMO, I hate all egg.
Q: Would you consider yourself a nerd or geek in terms of something you’re interested in? I’m somewhat of a car geek.

Q: Do you have a certain sunday lunch ritual?
A nowerdays no longer, in the early past several lunches with the family, kind of creapy
Q:have you got a real friend, kind of beeing there for ya in good & bad times?
A: Nope, I don’t keep friends for more than 3-4 years. Also, I tend to work alone. People think that they need friends. Truth is, if you’re self sufficient enough you don’t need them. People want friends, but often confuse it with needing friends. If you’re self sufficient enough you will see friends as nothing more than assets, pawns you can use and exploit to your own ends if need be. Otherwise nobody actually needs we just think we do because we assume that being or working alone is a sign of weakness, when in reality it’s quite the opposite. Solitude is freedom people.
Yes, I know that sounded pretty dark/ heavy but that’s the way I see it. Also, I tend to have trust issues for some reason so I only let people see what I want them to see. I take that both ways, I don’t trust anyone and nobody should trust me (ironically people say I’m actually quite trustworthy), also I don’t expect people to want to know about me so I don’t bother them about personal matters.
Q: What’s one funny quote from a famous person that it true or that you agree with?
For me it’s “Speed has never killed anybody, suddenly becoming stationary…that’s what gets you” - Jeremy Clarkson
Lol, I believe I just brought this thread to a screeching halt with my last post
Cuz absolutely nobody knows about any good freaking quotes by any famous whoever in the first place. All threads would eventually have to end. (Just look at threads from yesteryears [in other forums preferably] - most of them have stopped years ago)
@BetyVia This is kind of late but: Slmt hari minggu from my mom to you
@samuel_the_leader: Why you always want threads to come to an end? Why not let it all go on-and-on-and-on-and-on and then have it go on-and-on-and-on some more?
A:
“It’s basically like looking at sparkly lights and seeing which one shines the brightest, and that’s where my attention goes.”
-Mike Shinoda.
Q:
If someone gave you the power to save just one animal species on earth, which would it be?
Q: umm… (my earphones are breaking up… Again.) So does anyone have a problem of earphones breaking up? How often do u change them?
A: Earplugs don’t have a long “lifespan” when I use them. Either the wires break, or one or both of the plugs are torn apart. Also, my ears aren’t that big so most of the earplugs they sell these days don’t even fit into my ear. And those that “fit”, tend to hurt my ears BAD.
So now I turn to headphones. I’ve got these nice Sennheizer headphones that are comfortable to wear for a long time, great sound and I’ve had them for about 2 to 3 years now. And for on the road I have a cheaper Grundig headphone.
Q: Do you like stand-up comedy and if yes, who is your favorite stand-up comedian?
A: Not really, I find most of them offending and not “funny”.
Q: Ok, honest opinion here, why would you or why did you join the LPU?
Because I wanted the LPU CDs but I saw that the price was idiotically steep considering import costs and all that. Also, because I was bored.
Don’t go for earphones. As mentioned their life span is rather short and it’s not worth buying new ones. The best headphones that I can recommend (In terms of value for money) are the Sennheiser HD 202. They work with everything, they’re cheap (£26 on Amazon UK ATM).
They are great all rounders. Great with PCs even better when hooked up to a proper amp. And they only have an impedance of 32 ohms which is good because it means you can power it with a stupid phone or mp3.
They are slightly bass boosted. This DOES NOT mean that it turns your brain to mush. Sennheiser know their stuff and have produced a good tight bass with more than adequate mids and highs.
If you’re the sort of picky person who wants them to look good and fold and have a stupid detachable wire. These may not be for you. They do not fold, they are just short of hideous, they’re wire is 50 miles long (in all seriousness it’s 3m long) and it doesn’t detach.
They feel pretty flimsy, but I can assure you that they are tough (I managed to bend the headband at 180 degrees with no problems). I’ve put them through hell (They’ve been thrown, crushed, trodden on [especially the wire which is really thin], sat on, kicked, dropped, i even drilled into them to attach a blue-tooth mic) and they are as tight as a drum. Plus they are ultra light. Of course they need a good few hours of running to be broken in.
Good points:
-Excellent sound quality for what they are
-Very light
-Very durable
-Excellent value for money
-Work with all devices
-They’re fairly compact so you won’t draw too much attention to yourself if you’re the sort of person that listens to music when your outside. (Don’t misunderstand this point, I’m not trying to say that people who listen to music outside are weird, I was using an example).
Bad points:
-They’re a little tight at first
-They leak sound a bit if you listen to your music really loudly
-Ugly (to some that matters)
However, if you’re looking for properly good headphones and are prepared to spend some money, I’d definitely recommend the Sennheiser HD 598. They are best used with an amp and are definitely for indoors. They have more neutral sound but they are the best head phones I’ve ever had. Compared to rivals they are also good value for money. Currently £160 on Amazon UK (I got them for 125 on double discount).
WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT BUY BEATS. THOSE ARE THE WORST AND STUPIDEST HEADPHONES TO HAVE EVER BEEN CREATED. So if you’re thinking of blowing 300 quid on a pair, don’t, get a pair of 598s because they work with PCs fairly well as well. The 598 will kick the snot out of any cans you will find in your avg tech shop. However, when buying headphone you should always try them out yourself if possible.
Q: Most beautiful place you’ve been to?
@the_termin8r1 the cds, wow! Most people would just download them illegally but I love it that you’ve considered getting a membership for the music.
Love the input on the headphones too, and I agree that beats are the worst.
A: Prague, Czech Republic. Such a pretty city, love the architecture and the vibe it has. (I’m pretty sure Ireland and Scotland are prettier but I haven’t been there yet and considering that the UK is like my most favorite place on earth it wouldn’t be fair to say England lol).
Q: Where, when and how do you usually listen to music? Fpr example, since I’m home now all the time, I usually listento music in the late afternoon via my laptop (no, not with its crappy speakers, I’ve a different unit I run it through) and most of the time I play along with my guitar too (acoustic or electric, depends on how bored I am at the time to plug everything). I don’t listen to music when I’m outside cause I need to be able to tell what’s happening around me but I definitely enjoy listening when I’m on long roadtrips/trains/planes or whatever.
