Nope. No disasters of that sort happen in England. My street was slightly flooded a few months ago for a couple of hours because of blocked drains but that was about it. The only damage that was done by it was that a few people’s bins fell over.
I want to die strapped to the nose of an SR71 Blackbird doing Mach 3.5. That’d be one hell of a way to go. I’m curious as to what wold kill me first. The extreme G, extreme air friction (Meaning I’d probably roast since the windows of the cockpit heat up to 120 Celsius at that speed) or the lack of oxygen at that altitude.
Same here, grandad on my dad’s side passed away some years ago. The strange thing is that I felt nothing when I got the news. Probably because I hardly knew him. And then my grandma’s sister on my mum’s side passed a couple months back and my reaction was also kinda ‘meh’ (obviously I didn’t say it out loud).
