I am 42yrs old and have been a huge Linkin Park fan from the very beginning. I enjoy listening to them while baking, doing housework, and especially when I am depressed or totally pissed off. Whatever mood I am in, they let me Bleed It Out. Planning on seeing them in Calgary, have to wait and see how my funds work out.
I will be 38 in January and I have been a fan since day one. I have seen them in concert 2 times (that was in my late 20s). I can’t wait to see them again in January. Its good to see fans our age there since the beginning. LP is an awesome band. I still love listening to them.
I’m in that range
Hi @Angelam04
Havent really kept track of this thread but thought i’d give it a quick scan tonight & ur tattoo caught my eye… mine is almost identical (same logo, different words)
Getting there. I turned 29 in December.
Hi all
Going to be 56 in April…
I am still on such a buzz from being on stage with my son, who turned 26 last week, at the O2 in London.
We both thrive on LP and are looking to meet / see them again, hopefully attend a summit.
Cheers
Was that the show on the 24th @Graham_Milne?
Yep.
Was totally awesome.
Met LP at M&G, chatted with Chester, great show and then got special invite on stage by Chester himself.
Check out You Tube videos and you will see us.
To top the whole experience we are both on official video LP released, part 3 showing London, my boy in white LP tee shirt then I am standing to Chester right.
As said, relive the buzz every time I tell the story.
Find me on Instagram and you will check my pics and vid clips

Cheers
Haha… i was there - my first LP gig!
Couldnt get decent tickets tho coz they sold out so quick & wasnt a member of LPU at the time - a mistake i quickly fixed lol.
Would probably recognise u better if i hadnt been up somewhere in the roof
Will check out ur vids in a bit but - wow - what an amazing experience
Check the last 6 mins or so of this one
Listen carefully when Chester is comes to the corner of the stage, he says “Yes, I want him and his Dad”
He is tell security guard to let us in.
Fairs doesn’t listen so he jumps down and tells him.
You then see my boy run along front of stage and vault straight on.
I follow a bit later after negotiating the gaurds and am last on stage.
You will see us at various points.
You also see my boy get Robs drum stick used in song.
I have now framed this with autographed poster for his bday
Cheers
Yep… as soon as i saw ur boy i knew exactly who u both were!
I’m really chuffed u both have this memory together now… what a thing to share
How amazing are LP to do this for their fans?
(And how do they manage to make me feel all soppy n emotional???)
Ahhh… i was pretty much opposite the point this was videoed from - Block 402 Seat 487.
I plan to be standing in the front row of their next gig in the UK… haha - will no doubt see u there!!!
The inviting of fans onto the stage “seems” to be the first time as various long term LP fans have commented that they have never known it to happen before.
The great thing about the band is they are so “normal”
The M&G was amazing. You chat with them all as they come round and sign autographs.
Chester was so amazed that a father and son were there together and I firmly believe that he already planned to call us up right there and then.
The scene in the States seem completely different.
Loads of shows, with plenty M&G’s and occasional summit thrown in
Dam right, I’ll be ther in an instant !!!
Hi
I have managed to add a link to Instagram Photos on my profile.
Check video clips from my boys “on stage” antics.
Also see his bday pressie, it is pretty cool
Cheers
Hiya
I dont have an Instagram account but will set one up tomorrow n take a look
My hubby & i are both over 40 & love LP. All we do is rock concerts for our vacation time. The music runs through my veins & i can never get enough. I have been extremely lucky that I have met the band all 3 times I’ve seen them…starting back in 2011…including the Summit last year. I have met lots of ppl through LPU & I enjoy speaking with people that have same interest
Yes I am turning 40 and totally LOVE Linkin Park!! I’ve been to 2 concerts and Meet & Greets. The guys are so down to earth and friendly and I’ve loved their music since Hybrid Theory!! I listen to LP in my car and at home all the time!! I can relate to their earlier music as well as the songs they have now!! I believe we have grown together…and will continue to. Glad to know that others over 25 love to rock out, jump and scream at the concerts just as much as I do!!
47 and will never shut my ears to new music ( unless its country).
