A roller coaster of a LP story

[quote=sarbof]What an amazing story: I truly believe that music has the power to do incredible things and the fact that Wake came on when it did. Sometimes I think that some things are meant to be. I was gutted about not going to the first lpu summit in London as wasn’t allowed time off my work placement but I’m in a much better place now physically and mentally.

Wishing you every success with your recovery!!

Thanks :). When I first heard Wake I had no idea what I was called, the whole album actually. It was just on all the time in my room in hospital. It was a few days until I was really able to look at the song names and art book. The nurses even brought me a portable DVD player so I could watch the making of DVD that came with it.

I thought about going to the LPU summit as well but it was like the day after the Newcastle show I was meant to go to so I reluctantly accepted the fact that I wasn’t (yet) well enough to do both. It’ll take a lot to stop me from being there the next time they’re in the U.K. though!

Thanks for the well wishes!

You know i had seen the pics from the Europe tour and i saw a few pics of download and i was thinking while looking at the pics…i wonder what happend to him like y is he sitting down (you) bc everyone is standing and then i saw how Chester looks at you in the pics its amazing!! glad you decided to share your story  God bless LP soldier

Yeah i was pretty much about to faint because we had been waiting in line and just generally walking around for ages and I have this weird balance/nausea thing so they let me sit down. I really enjoyed talking to him. It’d be awesome if I got to do it again someday when I don’t need to sit down or anything.
